Built myself a new fire pit.
Turned out better than I thought it would, and didn't take nearly as long to build as I'd expected.
Those are six-foot benches, if you're curious about the scale at all.
The actual, usable area is about 3-foot wide and probably close to 10 inches deep.
The whole deal is probably close to 5 feet wide and recessed a little over a foot into the ground.
The bricks with the holes are roughly lined up N,S,E,W.

Had no idea what category to put this in. There is no 'masonry' or 'brickwork' or anything like that. So I just plugged it into miscellaneous.

Interesting, bout time, seems like three times a year you're talking about building a new fire pit.
